75-25 MARKS PATTERN
NEW PATTERN: The examination pattern has been revised as per Circular No.
UG/19 of 2019-20 dated 20th May, 2019 relating to the implementation of CBCS system for the Three Years LL.B and Five Years B.L.S., LL.B. programmes. CBCS 60:40 introduced in 2019-20 has been replaced by CBCS 75:25. The allotment of marks are as per the University of Mumbai from the Academic year 2022-23 the Three years LL.B. & Five years B.L.S. LL.B programme is offered under CBCS system (75:25 pattern).

5.3 CREDIT BASED EVALUATION SYSTEM
The performance of the learners shall be evaluated into two components. The learner’s performance shall be assessed by Internal Assessment with 25% marks in the first component by conducting the Semester End Examinations with 75% marks in the second component. The allocation of marks for the Internal Assessment and
Semester End Examinations are as shown below –
a) Internal Assessment – 25% (25 Marks)
It shall consist of One Periodical Test held in given semester- 10 Marks
Subject specific Term Work Module / Assessment modes as decided by the college in the beginning of the semester- 15 Marks
b) Semester End Examinations – 75% (75 Marks)
i. Long Answers (3 out of 5) 13 marks each – 39Marks
ii. Short Notes (2 out of 4) 6 marks each- 12Marks
iii. Situational Problems (2 out of 4) 6 marks each – 12 Marks
iv. 2 Sentences Answers (6 out of 8) 2 marks each -12 Marks
**Note: – Passing in the Practical Training is mandatory.
